ALLOTMENT: 9th NLIU - Justice R.K. Tankha Memorial International Arbitration Moot, 2024 [5th April 2024 - 7th April 2024]

The Invitation for the 9th NLIU - Justice R.K. Tankha Memorial International Arbitration Moot, 2024 [5th April 2024 - 7th April 2024] received applications as follows:

As per the Moot Court Society, Code 2023-24, the aforementioned Moot Court Competition is allotted to Rank 10: Sudhiksha Srivatsan and Team. The allotted team is hereby requested to carefully read through the below-mentioned instructions and strictly abide by the same. Any non-adherence to the procedure shall cause withholding of the allotment.


The allotted teams are hereby instructed to send the following list of documents filled in digitally to mcs.allotment@law.christuniversity.in and carbon copied to chaitra.v@christuniversity.in and karan.singh@christuniversity.in by 21st January 2024, and comply with any other procedure as prescribed under the MCS Code, 2023-24 and other documents as requested by the MCS keeping in mind the nature of the moot.


1. Permission Letter addressed to the HOD, School of Law.

2. Duly filled “Undertaking Form for Attendance” as per the MCS Code, 2023-24.

3. Duly filled “Undertaking Form of Guardian” as per the MCS Code, 2023-24.  

4. A copy of the allotment screenshot from the MCS Blog.

5. Attendance Details in compliance with the MCS Code, 2023-24.

6. NOCs if any.

7. Scanned physical copy of the consent form for physical attendance signed duly by the student and guardian.

8. Copy of Event dates from Moot Brochure


All the above documents are to be emailed in PDF format only. It is suggested that only one team member collect all the above-mentioned documents and email them to the required ID. In doing so please ensure that other team members receive a carbon copy (cc) of the same. While forwarding the MCS approval mail to HOD, ensure that mcs.allotment@law.christuniversity.in is CCed, and the mail body to be followed is attached in the annexure of MCS Code 2023-24. Please note that post event for attendance claims, the yellow form post signature from MCS faculty needs to be handed over to either Manav Agrawal (+91 8130644641) or Maria Robin (+91 8089039123).

NOTE:

1. If you are yet to complete your even semester allotted Moot court competition from the previous cycle, you are forbidden from bidding for moots in the odd semester of the 2023-24 cycle. Any contravention of this provision shall lead to the blacklisting of the moot team.

2. The allotted team is instructed to go through the Rules of the Competition and complete all internal formalities.

3. All queries regarding the allotment, withdrawal or pre-moot formalities must be addressed to mcs.allotment@law.christuniversity.in.

4. All photographs of Mooters must be taken in the School of Law Formal Uniform only.

5. The allotted team has to complete the registration formalities with the respective institution before the due date. If the allotted team fails to comply with the aforementioned instructions and the MCS Code 2023-24, they shall exhaust their rank for the Semester.

6. The registration and participation in the allotted moot are subject to the health environment of the nation. The decision made by the Moot Court Society will remain final in this regard. In the event of any cancellation made by the host institution or SLCU, MCS will not be responsible for the registration or any other booking made by the allotted team.

7. In case of cancellation of the said event, the rank of the team will not be exhausted.

8. In case the moot is clashing with End/Mid Semester examinations, the team is required to take permission from the HOD and the Office of Examinations and further comply with all other relevant procedures as found under the MCS Code 2023-24 prior to participation.

9. The team is mandated to inform MCS in case the reserved external moot is postponed/ preponed/canceled by sending a mail with all the details of the moot to mcs.allotment@law.christuniversity.in and to the Head of the Department.
