ALLOTMENT: 2nd Dr. K.L. Thakral National Moot Court Competition 2024 [8th November 2024 and 29th November 2024 – 30th November 2024] (1 slot)

The Invitation for the 2nd Dr. K.L. Thakral National Moot Court Competition 2024 [8th November 2024 and 29th November 2024 – 30th November 2024] (1 slot) received applications as follows:


Rank 15: Goutham S Satheesh and Team


As per the Moot Court Society, Code 2024-25, the aforementioned Moot Court Competition is allotted to Rank 15: Goutham S Satheesh and Team. The allotted team is hereby requested to carefully read through the below-mentioned instructions and strictly abide by the same. Any non-adherence to the procedure shall cause withholding of the allotment.


The allotted teams are hereby instructed to submit a hard copy of the following list of documents filled in, to any one of the following members of the Documentation Sub-Committee of the Moot Court Society, Maria Robin (+91 80890 39123), Thoshithashree A N Chowdary (+91 89049 37076), Manvi Chaturvedi (+91 82914 96859), and Trisha MV (+91 99019 55251), by 15th October 2024, and comply with any other procedure as prescribed under the MCS Code, 2024-25 and other documents as requested by the MCS keeping in mind the nature of the moot.


1. Permission Letter addressed to the HOD, School of Law.

2. Duly filled “Undertaking Form for Attendance” as per the MCS Code, 2024-25.

3. Duly filled “Undertaking Form of Guardian” as per the MCS Code, 2024-25.  

4. A copy of the allotment screenshot from the MCS Blog.

5. Attendance Details in compliance with the MCS Code, 2024-25.

6. NOCs, if any.

7. Scanned physical copy of the consent form for physical attendance signed duly by the student and guardian.

8. Copy of Event dates from Moot Brochure.


It is suggested that only one team member collect all the above-mentioned documents and submit the hard copies to any one member as required above. In doing so please ensure that other team members receive a digital/physical copy of the same. Please note that post-event, for attendance claims, the yellow forms must be handed over to either Vaibhav S (+91 91106 85089) or Kanav Singh Sood (+91 99581 30921).

NOTE:

1. If you are yet to complete your allotted Moot Court Competition from the previous mooting semester (odd or even), you are forbidden from bidding for moots in the current semester of the 2024-25 cycle. Any contravention of this provision shall lead to the blacklisting of the moot team.

2. The allotted team is instructed to go through the Rules of the Competition and complete all internal formalities.

3. All queries regarding the allotment, withdrawal or pre-moot formalities must be addressed to mcs.allotment@law.christuniversity.in.

4. The allotted team has to complete the registration formalities with the respective institution before the due date. If the allotted team fails to comply with the aforementioned instructions and the MCS Code of 2024-25, they shall exhaust their rank for the mooting semester.

5. In case of cancellation of the said event, the rank of the team will not be exhausted.

6. In the event of any cancellation made by the host institution or SLCU, MCS will not be responsible for the registration or any other booking made by the allotted team.   

7. In case the moot is clashing with End/Mid-Semester Examinations, the team is required to take permission from the Head Of Department and the Office of Examinations and further comply with all other relevant procedures as found under the MCS Code of 2024-25, prior to participation.

8. The team is mandated to inform MCS in case the reserved external moot is postponed/ preponed/canceled by sending a mail with all relevant details of the moot to mcs.allotment@law.christuniversity.in and to the Head of the Department (cc).

9. The decision made by the Moot Court Society in all circumstances shall remain final.
